    Small Game

This has quickly become my go to hunting knife. Don't let the name throw you off, this is an excellent big game field dressing knife. I can get my index finger close to the tip to prevent puncturing certain organs. Perfect size for squirrel, duck, goose, and grouse processing. Easy to carry. Both leather sheath and kydex sheath are high quality and functional.

    Amazing little knife

Posted by Keith c on Aug 14th 2024

This is my third White River Knife (along with the Allways there knife and caper in magnacut). The blade is sharp and gride is hard to falt. I attached 2 mil straps and carry it cross draw. It's a very light hunting knife with a good sized handle and usable blade. I'm going to edc it. The kydex sheath has good retention and a solid click. I love how grippy the linnen micarta is. The only small fault I can see is a very small blemish on the blade that was not hidden by the stone wash. It looks the same as on my s35vn always there knife on the non show side. I have to have a light at the right angle to even see it, so it's a non issue. For the price I'm very happy, and from what I have read 63hrc for magnacut is the sweet spot. I find the magnacut is more scratch resistant than the s35vn and have found all easy to sharpen and strop.

Don’t let the name fool you, the Small Game can handle bigger jobs too. This knife feels super comfortable in the hand and is a real pleasure to use. Oh, and the MagnaCut definitely lives up to all the hype.

    Impressed

I have been collecting and using many types and brands of knives for nearly 50 years. Just opening the wooden box on this knife was a thrill. I have not used it yet except to test a see that it is sharp enough to shave the hair off my arm out of the box. It is comfortable even in my large hand and I can tell the person who made it takes pride in their work. You have a new collecting customer!

    Awesome

The blade it beautifully crafted. I was skeptical of the linen scales, but now wish all my knives had these. G10 is too slippery for my taste. These are perfect.

    Great knife!

Posted by Chris Kopinski on Mar 30th 2023

I just received this today (3/30/23). It arrived less than a week after it was ordered, and I could tell right away that it was a much higher quality knife than any I had ever owned before. I've not purchased many knives. Some that I've owned have come from places like Walmart or military Exchanges. I was even issued a great Kershaw multi-tool with, what I thought, was an excellent blade when I was in the service. I've carried a few knives and multi-tools for work and recreation throughout a few decades. But, I decided to treat myself to, what I believed would be, a great quality knife to EDC around the neck. So far, I'm not disappointed! I believe the M1 is next on my list.

    Great knife for detail

Posted by Trevor Ogden on Nov 3rd 2022

This has been a great knife for small game or fine detail when capping large game. When i am out hunting this is the knife i carry on my waist with my big game knife in my pack. I have used this knife to fully gut a buck in a pinch and it even works good for that. I have been very impressed and intend to add more White River knives to my collection.
